EtherCAT Servo Drives

Ingenia provides a wide range of motor controls and drives with EtherCAT communications for a fast and flexible implementation on your application. Ingenia EtherCAT servo drives come in a variety of mounting types including panel mount, for direct integration into your application, as well as PCB mount, for integration into your own printed circuit board design. Our range of EtherCAT servo drives can row with latencies as low as 2 cycles and update rates of 4kHz for Cyclic Sync Position. Explore our wide range of EtherCAT Servo Drives or contact us to discover how we can help with a custom solution.

EtherCAT SErvo Drives and Motor ControllerS Range

Ingenia is part of the EtherCAT Technology Group and provides a wide selection of EtherCAT servo drives. Select the option that best fits with your project requirements and find the right products and solutions from our portfolio.

INGENIA EtherCAT Technology

Our technology lines are suited for both ultra-fast performance and for those applications where EtherCAT is used for the convenience of reduced wiring.

Base Series
Easy to use EtherCAT servo drives and motor controllers

Base Series series EtherCAT servo drives are easy to use and integrated and provide a cost-effective solution for motor control.

  • Precise EtherCAT coordination with control loops running at 10 kHz for Current and 1kHz for Position or Velocity.
  • USB Configuration for a fast commissioning including Position, Velocity and Torque auto-tuning with free-to-download software.
  • Low Power Consumption EtherCAT design for simple applications requiring deterministic control.
  • Simple and Reliable PCB Servo Drives for OEMs.

What is EtherCAT?

Ethernet for Control of Automation Technology, often referred as EtherCAT, is a standarized Ethernet-based fieldbus system developed by Beckhoff Automation and introduced in April 2003. With EtherCAT, data passes through the devices on the network and data is processed “on the fly” by slave devices. Input data is also inserted while the telegram passes through. This enables that the entire network can be addressed with just a single frame.

What are the benefits of ethercat SERVO DRIVES?

EtherCAT combines the best of two worlds: it has the Ethernet performance and the simplicity of a fieldbus:

  • Reduce process wait times with nanosecond accuracy.
  • Standarised object dictionaries enables almos plug-and-play slave connection.
  • Industry leading latency for robotics applications.

Thirdy Party Master controller Compatibility

As a member of the EtherCAT Technology Group, at INGENIA we try to make our servo drives compatible with as many controllers as possible. We take conformance and interoperability very seriously so that our servo drives seamlessly integrate with any other manufacturer products through the use of the EtherCAT Conformance Test Tool as well as functional testing.

To facilitate component selection we have compiled a list of third party controller manufacturers that have worked with our servo drives in the past.

Plug and Play - Trio Motion Technology

Trio manufactures flexible and economical solutions for motion control applications, enabling control of complex high speed automation and machine control in most industries throughout the world.
Its comprehensive product range allows seamless control of 1 to 64 axes of servo drives.

Embedded - Acontis EtherCAT Master Stack

Acontis technologies GmbH has achieved a leading position as an EtherCAT specialist. In 2004 the started development of the EtherCAT master stack software. Today, they provide a complete portfolio of EtherCAT products to their customers and are an active member of the EtherCAT Technology Group.
