Our DC Servo Drives are designed and manufactured to provide the best integration with our client applications. The open frame, high density PCB motor controls are ideal for placing the drives close to the actuator or motor. Ingenia servo drives make use of the latest digital technology to drive any type of motor with precise control of position, velocity or torque. We offer a broad connectivity range focused on motion control applications like EtherCAT and CANopen.

EtherCAT Servo Drives use the fastest industrial Ethernet Technolgy and synchronize with nanosecond accuracy. This reduces the wait times between process steps and increases application efficiency. The EtherCAT flexible topology altogether with the compact design of our dc servo drives provide the best fit for distributed control, high performance applications.
CANopen Servo Drives offer a robust communications protocol on a low cost physical layer. The standarised object set and device profiles ensure a fast and trouble free implementation. All the Ingenia CANopen DC Servo Drives follow the CiA DS301 communications profile and DS402 device profiles and can reach servo drive update rates close to 1 kHz with a max speed of 1M but/sec.
SPI Servo Drives offer a communication protocol for high-speed serial communications. This allows for multi-axis architectures and profiling with minimal latency. Ingenia SPI Drives reduce cost, space and time to market.

Brushless motor technology provides the highest efficiency and power density. However, this type of motors require a precise electronic commutation in order to achieve the desired efficiency and control. Ingenia DC servo drives for brushless motors implement high performance processors and precise current measurements in order to commutate the motors through Field Oriented Control and get the most out of your brushless motors.
Due to their construction, DC Brushed Motors do not require electronic commutation. For this reason DC Servo Drives for Brushed Motors can be designed with more cost-effective circuitry and control processors in order to reach the right performance and cost balance. Direct drive motors provide actuation systems with less elements: they get rid of the traditional gears required to achieve the desired torque in many robotics or industrial applications. This has great benefits but it also required much higher control performance on the motor control electronics. Ingenia DC Servo Drives for Direct Drive motors are compatible with ultra-high precision absolute encoders and process the control loops at unmatched speeds in order to provide soft and accurate movements.
