Barcelona, Spain (February 28, 2021): Ingenia (part of Celera Motion, A Novanta Company) announces successful participation in the SMART project.
In the scope of the SMART project (Intelligent Maintenance and Predictive Supervision of Industrial Systems), Ingenia successfully built and prepared the setups for applying and testing the predictive control and prognosis algorithms developed by the project partners. The goal of these setups, is providing the SMART project partners (UPC & ENIT) with a useful and reliable test bench for simulating and testing the system failures in representative industrial scenarios.
The objective of the project is to improve the productivity and competitiveness of SMEs in addition to support them towards Industry 4.0. The integration of intelligent monitoring and predictive maintenance algorithms is being increased, with the aim of optimize the quality of processes and methods of production. In addition, these algorithms will extend the life of the equipment while maintaining the quality of the products.
This project has been co-financed 65% by ERDF Funds. Specifically, the ERDF subsidy is € 583,904.75 of the total operation that amounts to € 898,315.00.
